Discover the rich history and romance of
Hanham Court Gardens with our private Garden Tours and Open Days.

Garden Tours

In 1993, Isabel and Julian Bannerman moved to Hanham Court and would go on to transform the gardens that they are renowned for today. We have continued to honour their legacy by preserving the grounds as they were intended, as well as adding our own unique style, to create a green haven for gardening enthusiasts and those alike.
On our garden tours, you will not only learn about the diverse range of flora but also the unique artistic perspective applied when designing the gardens.
The grounds at Hanham Court are made up of a number of distinctive areas including; the Formal Gardens, the Rose Garden, the Woodland Valley, the Stumpery, the Wildflower Meadow, the Orchard and the Vegetable Garden. Follow a guided tour with us, or feel free to explore the gardens alone in peace.

Group bookings are available for a minimum of 15 people. We also offer food and refreshments at an additional price.

Open Days

Hanham Court Gardens often opens its gates to the public in association with the National Garden Scheme, with proceeds going to charity. Sadly we are taking a break this year, but will be back in 2027 supporting the NGS.

Look out for updates here and on our social media pages for details of our next opening dates and other seasonal events.
